Hornet is a USB powered ANT+ to Bluetooth implementation of our traditional WASP system. The Hornet is easily accessed via bluetooth making it ideal for installations with complicated network setups. HÔRNET ships in HÛBB mode by default, allowing for Apple Watch connectivity to your existing WASP system, simply by plugging it into USB power.

Description

Shipping in heartbeatz HÛBB mode allows up to 15 Apple Watch connections with our heartbeatz Connect Pro app to rebroadcast as an ANT+ HRM to your WASP ANT+ receivers out of the box. This enables Apple Watches to be used as a heart rate monitor in group fitness classes with the simple act of plugging the USB into power, no further setup is required.

Putting it in HÔRNET mode is pretty simple, but will require working with our engineering team to properly implement the SDK and XC Framework. For more information on integration, please reach out to sales@npe-inc.com.

HÔRNET works with our WASP Class Libraries to receive and decode ANT+ fitness sensor messages for a variety of applications. HÔRNET also allows for Apple Watch heart rate connections via our heartbeatz app, making HÔRNET a robust commercial solution for fitness tracking. You can use the HÔRNET to display sensors on a leaderboard in your fitness studio, aggregate data from multiple athletes for detailed performance analysis, or use HÔRNET for other fitness data tracking applications that you may have.

HÔRNET connects via Bluetooth to an iPad or via USB to a Windows PC. If you are in a larger space, you can pair two HÔRNET devices together in satellite mode; one to be plugged into your computer, and one to be located out in the studio to provide best line of sight to the sensors in the room as well as USB connectivity with your computer.
